What’s New in Firefox 3.0.6

Firefox 3.0.6 fixes several issues found in Firefox 3.0.5:

* Fixed several security issues.

* Fixed several stability issues.

* In previous versions of Firefox, some users experienced a problem where parts of the screen were not properly displaying after Firefox was open for long periods of time.

* Improved the ability for scripted commands (including those included in popular extensions like Adblock Plus) to work properly with plugins. (bug 438830)

* Removed the client user ID from crash reports.

* Fixed issues with the display of some Indic scripts.

I have seen that upgrade and i upgraded my firefox also. But there is no visible difference in it. I felt the same like before. There is no speed difference also. I think they may removed some bugs.

I didnt like any firefox 3.x versions, too buggy, too much memory, switched back to 2.6 final.

really? How do you switch back to 2.6? I like 3.0 and its designs. But now more hackers will aim for the newer versions and not old ones so old one might be safer.

Yeah i don't like designs, i prefer the overall system performance.
When i am on facebook watching embedded content i cant open a new tab, unless the video i am watching ends!!!!
I had to downgrade, bugs were incredibly many:mad::mad::mad:

Oh haha, because I have a fast computer so the performance doesn't really matter. A tip on watching streaming stuff when opening new windows or tab is to pause it, and then open then play the video again. It works for me.
