7$ to Lite-Jailbreak your phone.

For people that dont know, Rip-Dev are the guys who first released 'Installer' on Jailbroken iPhones of old, and they still do have it for the iPhone 2.0+ OS, but its not very popular anymore as Cydia is just a much better solution.

Recently, they released the InstallerApp, which they claim does this;
InstallerApp is a native Mac OS X application (soon — for Windows too) that allows you easily download applications from Installer and Cydiadirectly onto your computer, and install them to the iPhone connected with USB cable. Download for Mac OS X.
They charge 7$ for this, "Lite-Jailbreak" software. Unlike Quickpwn/Pwnagetool which is absolutely free.
You can read more about this app here.

While yes, it doesnt install Cydia or Installer onto your iPhone, and I have to say, download the app's to my computer and then transferring it to the iPhone without the use of Cydia or Installer, is a juicy proposition, I disagree with the 7$ price tag on this.

Ofcourse, you can use it for free, which leaves you with the following;
InstallerApp is commercial software. One license costs US $7. By purchasing a license you will add a capability to synchronize up to 3 different iPhones with InstallerApp to install software, get free updates for your InstallerApp 1.x, and also be eligible for the email tech support within a year after purchasing a license. Without a license, InstallerApp is a fully functional application, including ability to perform Push procedure and put Installer.app on iPhone — only package installation onto the iPhone is not available.

So, you can use it without purchasing it, but then your stuck with the poor app collection of Installer.

Nice try Rip-Dev, Ill stick to Cydia on my iPhone, oh, which is totally free.
