hi!! i got the problem in my lap top.i had restore my computer but after restore,
restore became blank and in the left side of my computer, search companion became blank.how could i solve this problem please help me.......

you can undo the last restore.

Have you restored your lappy with windows restore point OR using lappy restore CD/DVD.

I also restored my computer to previous date but after restoring it shows an error regsvr.exe not found on windows start how can I resolve it

regsvr.exe is actually a virus.
A very easy methid to remove the warning message is, create a notepad file on same location and rename it as regsvr.exe

Let me know if you are unable to solve the problem.
