it is more than one year old news. Now Airtel is providing 8Mbps speed.
2Mbps was launched in year 2006 only by BSNl for home user.

yes, you are right. I think Indian internet service provider should now think of UL 2 Mbps plan at cheap rate..say about Rs. 1K per month.

Actually..after the launch of 8mbps plan in india by both airtel and BSNL
it was actually like dumbing ppl around
they just provided low bandwidth to be used by just charging very very much . :(
if talking about foreign countries..ppl get 50Mbps for the same price we get 2mbps here :(

my friend is in usa his plan is 8mbps with unlimited downloading and charge something around $40 i would to have such plans in india

But did you guys notice that those plans are no more ? At least in airtel. Again the plans do not come under unlimited usage terms. Whats the use then ?
