How many of you open the case and clean?

I guess I should address this to desktop users. Sorry lappy boys and girls.

But do you open that case and vacuum out??....cleaning out dust on the boards??....Making sure any cooling fins are also dusted?

Do you have a particular product that you have used to help you do this?

My old PIII, is quite dirty inside. I do clean it once a year. But not too concerned bcoz, all that dirt hasnt yet affected my PC. :|

ya i do open the case for cleaning regurly with vaccum and i helps because if you cpu heat sink fan is properly cleaned it can increase your performance.

i have never opened it yet....coz its in guarantee period and have a seal on its cover....lol

I do clean it frequently. Because i keep adding new hardware or tinkering with my PC. So whenever i open the cabby i clean it up.

I do that once every quarter. Generally dont do that.

i clean quarterly my using a vacuum cleaner and a cloth .. the first is clean the processor heat sink fan..next smps then mother board and then cabinet..then remove the ram wipe the slots and rub the ram with a eraser and connect back remove the smps wires and clean it..improves few %
