Microsoft's deadline for allowing OEMs to sell PCs with systems that are "downgraded" from Windows Vista to XP has been officially extended for six more months to January 31, 2009. The information is based on one leaked email sent to an OEM. Earlier this deadline date was July 31, 2008.

yeah i totally agree, I hate vista, many people get it just cause of the graphics. IF you want to personalize your computer there are a lot of free and paid themes outhere that can make your xp look better than vista. Xp its a lot more stable than vista.

hopefully Windows 7 will be as good as everyone says, I haven't tried it myself but it sounds pretty good (at least better than vista) :P

Great news. Even if it gets removed Im sure there will be a lot of pirated and cracked versions stolen. People will still downgrade their new OS's like Windows 7 or Vista or any newer generation windows to XP because it's so good, unless there is a revolutionary OS that is like the new version of XP.

you mean we cant use xp after 6 months that really not good since vista has many bug in it so i dont want to install in my pc and wid=ndows 7 i think is not compatable with my pc

Windows 7 will be the next windows XP. Hope microsoft has learned something from Windows Vista blunder.

Windows looks pretty promising. The beta itself reflects what the OS is capable of.

Yeah. The GUI is great and thanfully they have removed the sidebar.
