There are two ways to include jQuery in your HTML page.

  1. Self Hosted
  2. Remotely hosted

Including a remotely hosted jQuery has some advantage over self hosted, like faster loading.
Many popular enterprises like Google, Microsoft provide hosted copies of jQuery on their CDN networks that are available for public use. Simply copy paste any below code in head section of your webpage.

Google CDN:

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1/jquery.min.js"></script>

Microsoft CDN:

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.aspnetcdn.com/ajax/jQuery/jquery-1.7.2.min.js"></script>

jQuery.com CDN

<script type="text/javascript" src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-1.7.2.min.js"></script>
